Jae Ko: flow

Jae Ko: flow is an immersize paper installation by the artist Jae Ko, who took inspiration from the melting Artic Plain with its floating, fractured glaciers. The catalogue features multi-layered blind embossing and a saddle-sewn spine, along with a four-fold panorama of the immersive gallery space, to mimic the recycled paper rolls used within the installation. Subtle variations of blue hint at the arctic landscape from which Ko took inspiration. Inspired by Ko, I sought out a typeface designed by a woman; using the website Typequality, I discovered Rosart designed by Katharina Köhler of Camelot type foundry.
